About The Temple

We are a

Devotional Learning Temple

Our Temple is founded on a sacred vision that all sincere devotees have the opportunity to worship, learn, and connect with the Divine Mother, Sri Swarna Dhurgai Amman. We believe that every devotee has the right to participate in chanting sacred hymns, including Lalita Sahasranama, and to understand and perform the rituals dedicated to the Divine. In keeping with this vision, we warmly encourage all visitors and volunteers to take part in temple activities to the extent they are able. Our mission is to guide devotees in the worship of Sri Swarna Dhurgai Amman while preserving and sharing the beauty of our ancient Saiva traditions.

As a Devotional Learning Temple, we believe that true blessings are received when devotees are both engaged and enlightened in their spiritual journey. During temple programs, our pujaris often take time to explain the significance of rituals, pujas, and homams, helping devotees understand their deeper meaning and benefits. Through this experience, we gain a deeper appreciation of Sanatana Dharma and are inspired to pass on these timeless traditions to future generations.

Vision & Mission

Vision

To foster the spiritual growth of individuals and the wider community, and to encourage harmonious living aligned with our cultural, social, and natural surroundings. We aim to empower all sincere devotees to understand, experience, and actively participate in the sacred worship of Sri Swarna Dhurgai Amman and the timeless principles of Sanatana Dharma.

Mission

To serve as a Devotional Learning Temple to the community, preserving and sharing the knowledge, rituals, and traditions associated with Sri Swarna Dhurgai Amman and Sanatana Dharma. Our mission is built upon the values of inclusivity, equal access, spiritual awareness, and active involvement of devotees across all age groups.

We create meaningful learning opportunities by encouraging participation in temple festivals and rituals, organising spiritual classes and workshops, and offering guidance to help devotees understand the significance of pujas, homams, and devotional practices. We are committed to nurturing the younger generation by involving them in various aspects of temple activities, ensuring the continuity of our rich cultural heritage.

All of this is made possible through the dedication of our volunteer community. Our mission is guided by the timeless value of belief that the whole world is one family.
